I'm in!

How's the route look with the Platte River pedestrian/bike bridge out of service?

The new route looks fun, and longer. If I can't take any more hills for the last 20, I might ditch the route for the Keystone near the air base.

I love the tag, "Vitamin G". :)

I might ditch with you Scott.

it should be fine the last 10-15 miles are relatively flat . and no pflug rd has to count for something

Rafal, "relatively flat" should never reference South O. Bellevue blv - rolling hills, 13th street - rolling hills, riding out of down town - one large hill to get over.

I'm fine with riding either way - hills of South O, or just up the trail. I guess it might depend on how much food I stuff down my gullet though.

Amen! Munsoned.

Rafal's idea of relatively flat is amusing with it's inclusion of Bellevue Boulevard and the South O hills around the zoo. I've done that route before, and may well do it again Sunday. I'll just have to see how it feels when we cross over the trail. Rafal has a colorful way of "encouraging" folks on the rides. ;-)

you know i just figured they will ride and not not how to get home :D
is that bad?
i guess it's relatively flat compared to gravel grades there might be on or 10 "small" hills

No P-Flugg? I'm down with that! Although, I might count myself in with the "bail at the Keystone" crew.

I'm excited.

Wuupee!!!

I just cleaned my bike... a day early. See it shine!

Can't wait to get it all dirty again.

I never have time to really clean my bikes. I just let nature take care of the frame, I only worry about the chain.

I just saw Lucas and Eric B. at the Community Bike Shop. Lucas says he's out, but Eric says he'll be there tomorrow.

He doesn't get off work until 2am... I wonder if he will have slept at all!

Again, the Bacon Ride was epic. There was pre-dawn riding. There was misdirection and wandering. There was breakfast, of course. There was lawlessness across the Platte, and there were mechanical issues. And finally, there was beer, and hummus.

I'll post my photos at my blog tomorrow. If you Facebook, you can see them there at my profile.
