I love surly's look. You can't go wrong with a build on one of their frames.
DUDE. Gay.Kidding. Looks solid man. I like the extreme stem angle. Puts you in a great position for drops and top riding. It will be an all weather commando. Now do yourself right and Watch Commando for all the bicycle transportation tips!
Eewww... A clean Crosscheck?? Isn't that blasphemous? Use that thing and get it nice n dirty!Looks great. I predict many great adventures will happen on that machine. Enjoy!
unless there's something I don't know about building up a Surly, your front wheel is on backward. Or at least the skewer is. But nice bike, though.
yea, thanks for the heads up bryan. i threw it on for the pictures and didn't notice it until I was finished. so no, its not a better way to rock the front wheel, or an "indie"/reversed front wheel...
Nothing wrong with rockin' your wheel on backwards, but only if you reinstall your reflectors and pie-plate.Nice bike!
She's a beaut. I ride a crossxcheck myself and love it.
